I am René Auberger. As a Senior IT Architect at IBM, I am responsible for designing solutions based on Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, Cognitive Computing and Analytics. In technical sales, I work with industrial companies focussing on mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and the manufacturing industry. I have been working for these industries since 2006. In 2010, I already implemented a project that would be labeled today as "Industrie 4.0" - the vertical integration of a hot rolling mill. Since 2014 I am working in the area of IoT.
In January 2017, I founded the Internet-of-Things.blog, because the topic fascinates me, I would like to share my knowledge and I am interested in an exchange. In addition, I try to make my house a little smarter - on the one hand for comfort and security reasons but certainly also a bit to live out my technological game drive. I am an enthusiastic driver of an all electric car since 2013 and spend some 20,000 km on a purely electrical basis every year.
I am convinced that technology can help us to make our lives more comfortable and secure and at the same time save energy and resources.
I invite you to follow me and my thoughts on Twitter.
